Most people want their wireless devices and computer configurations for network infrastructure, which means that the network is managed by a router. If you're in a situation where you need to transfer files and data from a wireless computer to another, you can quickly set up an ad
hoc network, however. An ad hoc network is considered one computer to another network without a router or access point is present. Such use of such a network would be a business meeting environment where you need to quickly transfer files to an associate. Just set up an ad hoc network on your computer and then search for the client and connect to the shared folder on your PC.
Set up an ad hoc
A computer network will create and host. Other computers will then search and connect to your computer. When the host computer is off or out of wireless range, the network has disappeared.

In the Preferred Networks section, click the Add button.
On the Association tab, without first giving the name of the network, or what is called a Service Set Identifier (SSID). This is the name people see when searching for available networks.

At this stage, the host computer can then put a shared folder. You can create a folder by right clicking anywhere in an open area and choose New Folder. Name the folder you want, then right click and select Sharing. Name the folder and place all the data you want to share in this folder. New versions of Windows will also have a public folder, a file open on other computers can access to see when they connect.
Allow other users to connect to your computer
Now that you've created an ad hoc network, people can go to network and connect with you. To do this, locate the wireless icon in the system tray, then click on this icon.

Click View available networks. If the host computer is turned on and configured properly, will appear as an available network. You will then need to type the password to connect.
